PROM DRESS DRIVE Prom Dress Drive! Sponsored by BHS's Acts of Random Kindness Club. Help someone in need buy an affordable dress by donating your secondhand prom dresses to Families in Transition's OutFITters Thrift Store. Interact Club to collect non-perishable food items Interact club members will visit Advisories Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week and next to count and collect non-perishable food items. The advisory that brings in the most items will win a full Panera breakfast. If the school brings in 1,000 items, the Interact club will donate an additional 1,000 to benefit New Horizons for NH food pantry and soup kitchen as well as the Bedford Food Pantry healthy lunch program. New Horizons wish list: peanut butter, jelly, cereal, baked beans, mac & cheese, canned vegetables, canned tomatoes, canned fruit, tomato sauce, tuna fish, pasta, canned soups. Bedford Food Pantry wish list * Apple Juice, 8oz. plastic bottle Macaroni with beef, 15oz. can (Beefaroni, Ravioli, Spaghetti and meatballs...) Microwave Macaroni and cheese, 2.05oz cup (Kraft, Velveeta, store brand) Tuna, 5oz can (any kind or brand) Saltine Crackers, 4 sleeves per box (any brand) Fruit, 15oz. can (peaches, pears, fruit cocktail) Ramen noodles, 3oz package (beef or chicken) Granola bars (any size, any brand) The pantry could always use: Cereal, canned fruit, canned pasta with meat, pasta sauce, tuna *These items make up boxes for needy families with children in Bedford schools, to provide nutritious lunches on weekends and during school vacations.
